Circuit Clinical® ("Circuit”) provides services and information via its primary website at https://www.circuitclinical.com (the "Site"). This privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") summarizes how Circuit handles the information that you voluntarily provide when you use the Site and that we may automatically collect when you visit the Site ("Personal Information").

Our Site is controlled and operated by Circuit from its offices within the United States. Accordingly, this Privacy Policy, and how Circuit handles the information that you voluntarily provide when you use the Site and information that we may automatically collect when you visit the Site, is governed by federal and state laws, and not by the laws of any other country, territory, or jurisdiction. We make no representations that the Site is appropriate or available for use outside of the United States. Access to the Site from territories where its contents or purpose is illegal is prohibited. What Personal Information does Circuit collect?

You can access and browse our Site at any time without providing Personal Information that can be traced back to you.

To use some of its services and access certain areas of the Site, you must provide Personal Information that can be traced back to you, such as your first name, last name, email address and phone number. We collect this Personal Information that you voluntarily provide through the use of on-line data entry, survey, and registration forms. Circuit may also ask you for Personal Information at other times, including when you complete optional survey forms, fill out contact forms for additional information on particular clinical trials/studies or seek general information about clinical research. Accordingly, you remain in control of what Personal Information you wish to submit on a voluntary basis to Circuit.

Why does Circuit need Your Information?

Circuit regularly makes improvements to the Site to provide its many users with a more personalized, relevant and intelligent service. The collection of Personal Information greatly assists Circuit in this improvement process by identifying the interests and needs of the many users to the Site. Collection of Personal Information also assists Circuit by allowing it and its affiliates to inform the user of its services in a more efficient manner.

Through the use of Cookies, information we automatically collect when you use our Site, and the on-line data entry, survey, and registration forms, Circuit may monitor, in aggregate and individual form, Personal Information. Note, however, that Circuit is not and cannot be responsible for the activities or privacy policies of any third party with whom your Personal Information is shared.

What does Circuit do to keep Your Personal Information Secure?

On our Site and within Circuit, we seek to use appropriate administrative, technical and physical security measures to reasonably safeguard your Personal Information under our control from unauthorized use, release or access. Can You opt-out of Circuit's use and disclosure of Your Personal Information?

As described in the "Why does Circuit need your Information?" section above, the collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information greatly assists Circuit in creating a more personalized, relevant and intelligent service for you. Without your Information, we could not deliver to you in the most beneficial way Circuit's content and services. As discussed above in the "What Personal Information does Circuit collect?" section, registration and provision of Personal Information that can be traced back to you is voluntary. In other words, you must "opt-in" to our use and disclosure of your Personal Information for the marketing and other purposes described in this Privacy Policy. If you opt-in to our use or sharing of your Information, you can later change your mind and opt-out. You may immediately opt-out from all future use and disclosure of your Personal Information for the marketing and other purposes described this Privacy Policy by requesting the removal of your Personal Information from Circuit’s database as described in the "Do You have the ability to access and correct your Personal Information?" section below.[2] 

Please note that if you opt-out as described above, Circuit will not be able to remove your Personal Information from the databases of our affiliates with whom we have already shared your Personal Information as of the date of your opt-out request. 

Do You have the ability to access, change or remove Your Personal Information?

At any time, you may contact Circuit via e-mail to request: (i) a summary of any of our Personal Information retained by Circuit; (ii) a change to your Personal Information maintained by Circuit; or (iii) removal of our Personal Information from Circuit’s database.[3] 

You should send your request to privacy@circuitclinical.com or by completing this form. In the event Circuit receives such a request, Circuit may require you to confirm or verify any change to your Personal Information.

What about information you enter into Third Party Programs included in Circuit's Site?

As an additional service to its users, Circuit has included in its Sites various programs and tools created and administered by third parties ("Third-Party Programs") whereby, as examples, you can receive useful information concerning potential diseases/conditions, drug alternatives, and tools whereby you can maintain records relating to your condition. Your use of these Third-Party Programs is entirely optional and at your sole discretion. If you do choose to use them, then some or all of these Third-Party Programs may require that you provide additional identifying information that can be traced back to you. If You elect to use one or more of these Third-Party Programs, then any identifying information that you provide as part of the Third-Party Program, as well as your Registration Information, will be available to the third-party administering that Third-Party Program. By using any Third-Party Program, you acknowledge that any identifying information and Registration Information that you provide to the third-party does not constitute a violation of Circuit's Privacy Policy. Circuit will maintain the privacy of your identifying information in Circuit's possession in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable state and federal privacy laws. Circuit cannot guarantee that any third-party will maintain the privacy of your personally identifying information under any circumstance.
